baked peaches with fresh cream

The weekend is here! And holiday season is in full effect. During Christmastime with my family, dessert becomes its own meal. We take our sweets very¬†seriously. But when you don’t have time to make an entire pie, these baked peaches with fresh cream are a quick fix for those after-dinner cravings. Oh, and they make quite the indulgent holiday breakfast as well. Just don’t tell anyone I said that.

Baked Peaches with Fresh Cream

4 peaches, washed and cut in half, pits removed
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons oats
2 tablespoons flour
1 tsp salt
4 fresh figs, sliced
Cinnamon for sprinkling
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

In a 9×13 baking pan, place your peaches pit side up.

In a bowl, using your hands, form a crumble with your butter, sugar, oats, flour and salt. Place the crumble evenly among the peaches. Top with sliced figs. Drizzle with honey and coconut oil.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden. Sprinkle each peach with cinnamon and drizzle about a tablespoon of cream over each. Serve warm!
