Health-Ade Cocktails

So I’ve fallen in love with a Kombucha. Its true, I’m a little obsessed. I think I first discovered Health-Ade in San Francisco. I was walking through a darling boutique grocer, and I needed a little pick-me-up. I had already had quite a few cups of coffee, and was looking for something bubbly and refreshing. I walked through the beverage section and the ginger lemon Health-Ade bottle stuck out to me, mostly because their branding is on-point. The bottles are dark and moody, and the labels are just so darn catchy- anchor and all.

I bought the ginger lemon and became a little bit of an addict. There is something so wonderful¬†about knowing you’re putting something beneficial into your body. I talk a lot about how what we put into our bodies has an immense impact on how we feel externally- food (and drinks!) have the ability to shift the way we think about ourselves, our bodies, our days. When we put something good and beautiful into our body, we feel good and beautiful on the outside. When we treat ourselves like we are worth the best, we end up practicing that on the outside as well. Kombucha actually is part of that for me. With so many gut benefits, its a great addition to my day. And, if the gut is considered the second brain (there are SO many hormones regulated in the gut) I want to treat it well.

In addition to really healthy things, I also happen to really love cocktails. Obviously. And if I’m going to be drinking alcohol, I thought it might be fun to get a little creative and make some cocktails that are gut friendly.

I got together with two of the most darling women in San Diego to style a little shoot and create some beautiful cocktails. Jill from Layered Vintage, and Arielle Vey are such incredibly talented women who are so creative and love cocktails as much as I do. Also, the three of us will be hosting some workshops in the next couple months… So be on the lookout for that. But, in the meantime, here is some of the fun that we created with the deliciousness of Health-Ade. Also, these cocktails are so delicious and so easy! Try them for those lingering fall back porch evenings, or for a weekend brunch with friends.
