women & whiskies at vivane with how you glow

October 27, 2016

This year, I’ve had so much fun hosting a handful of Women & Whiskies events throughout LA. One of my most cherished things in life is bringing the people I love together in one room to celebrate, to connect, and just to be together. The joy of Women & Whiskies is that they are intent on bringing amazing women together, celebrating the power of women, and empowering women to drink something that is historically considered a man’s drink. My darling friends, Jessie and Tara, from How You Glow, partnered with me to create an epic night of cocktails, conversation, and connection on the beautiful patio at Viviane. We gathered some of our favorite LA women and created an evening to remember.

women & whiskies nashville

June 29, 2016

You guys. I’m not sure how to even express how much fun I had throwing a Women & Whiskies party in Nashville recently. It started with a fun dreamer conversation with my darling soul-friend Ruthie Lindsey. We met in Nashville a little over a year ago and became instant friends. Since then, we’ve been trying to throw some form of dinner/whiskey party, and when Women & Whiskies said they were up for Nashville, we were ecstatic. First of all, Nashville is the perfect whiskey town. Secondly, there is something so magical about bringing amazing and talented women together to celebrate friendship and intentionality, all over really great drinks.

Women & Whiskies Wednesday

April 27, 2016

I recently got to bring some of my favorite LA women together, around a table, to enjoy some quality whiskey and one another’s company in conjunction with Women & Whiskies. W&W is a fantastic program started by Campari America that gathers women together to learn about and enjoy, you guessed it: whiskey! In the vain of my obsession with Whiskey Wednesdays (where I throw a dinner party centered around getting to know strangers through communal table questions over delicious food and drink), we pulled together a beautiful evening of crafted cocktails, intentional conversation, and Italian food.

the snap piña colada

February 17, 2016

You know those times where you just need a good old midweek pause? When you need a little extra pick-me-up to propel you through the remainder of the work week? This week is one of those weeks for me. Generally, my Wednesday pick-me-ups include whiskey. But this week I’m mixing it up with a snap piña colada- a refreshing and creamy treat that gives you that nice tropical vacation in-a-glass feel. Made with coconut milk, pineapple, and one of my favorite liquors, it’s an easy and delightful treat to give yourself that much needed break this week.

an art of tea boozy brunch

January 13, 2016

Tea with whiskey? Yes please. A few weeks back, I attended an art of tea boozy brunch hosted by Art of Tea, a hand-blended tea company based in Los Angeles. We walked in, were handed whiskey-tea infused cocktails, and I was sold. The cocktail- made with whiskey, chamomile tea, lemon and honey was the perfect morning buzzy drink. The brunch was at Elysian, which is honestly one of the most darling oasis gathering spots in the city. It’s lush and colorful and has the perfect little outdoor courtyard that made for a fantastic brunching spot.

a rosemary whiskey new years

December 29, 2015

I jumped over the pond this week and came to London to visit by best friend and my dog-nephew Tuna. London is a city that is full of magic and wonder. Something here wakes me up to life- it makes me feel full and adventurous and it’s quite dreamy walking the streets during this time of year. I spent two months here in 2014 and haven’t been back in a year, so I decided to spend both New Years and my birthday here. We’ve got plans at a darling champagne bar called Amuse Bouche for a roaring 20s party. But, beforehand, I’ve got plans to cocktail and toast the year’s end with one of my favorite whiskey drinks.
